There has been an awful lot of potato-eating in this apartment this week. Small baked potatoes with salt and butter make an excellent quick lunch if you have them pre-baked, and eating them so plain lets the potato-y goodness shine instead of them being just generic starchy food. I also made a sort of vaguely kugel-like object for dinner last night. Sliced cooked potatoes and caramelized onions, with scrambled eggs poured over them, then baked until the eggs were done. Quite tasty. I have Grand Plans for dinner tonight, which I will post about if they work. The Grand Plans involve purple food, which I am always in favor of.
